Is TradeWindow Origin an authorised issuer of the Free Trade Agreement certificates?
Yes, TradeWindow Origin is authorised by New Zealand Customs Service for issuing Certificates of Origin under applicable Free Trade Agreements in New Zealand.
How long will it take for a certificate to be issued from TradeWindow Origin?
Within minutes for pre-approved goods, once data is submitted for certificates in the electronic form.
If a certificate is required in a manual format e.g., where approved goods is not instated, the turnaround for these is one working day. Our team can help you with these as required.
What does a pre-approval of the Free Trade Agreement certificate mean?
Once the Origin verifier approves the origin criteria and HS code for a good, all future shipments for that good into that particular Free Trade Agreement will automatically be issued and approved when the relevant data is submitted to the Origin system.
How long will it take to get my new goods approved by the TradeWindow Origin verifier?
New goods approval will take up to one working day to approve, provided all supporting documentation is supplied according to the specific requirements of the Free Trade Agreement.
How long is the Origin Criterion approval valid per product?
Origin criteria approval is valid for three years from the date of declaration. New goods submitted are validated by the Origin verifier as true and correct.
How is my data going to be used?
CBAFF will receive aggregate data on the number of Certificates of Origins (COOs) issued each month by each of its members. This information will be provided solely for the purpose of calculating and administering credits payable to the trade representative body.
Does TradeWindow pay any commissions or referral fees?
TradeWindow does pay CBAFF in credits for referals of potential customers to TradeWindow. This is not payable by you and is not an additional charge. TradeWindow does not require CBAFF to make any particular claims about TradeWindow or the Certificate of Origin (COO) service offered.
